This page explains how to ask Labooka to delete personal data, including data we received when you messaged a business whose Facebook Page or Instagram account is connected to Labooka, or when you connected such an account yourself.
For what we collect and why, see our /privacy.
1. Request deletion by email
Send an email to support@labooka.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".
To help us find your data, include:
- The email address or phone number linked to your Labooka account, if you have one
- If you messaged a business through Facebook Messenger or Instagram: your profile name or Instagram username, and the name of the business
- What you would like deleted (all data, or only the messages)
2. Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram (business owners)
A business owner can disconnect Facebook Messenger or Instagram at any time in the business settings. Disconnecting removes Labooka's stored access token and stops future access to the connected account.
Limited account identifiers, connection metadata and conversation records may remain where needed for account history, security, support or legal obligations. Disconnecting a channel is not a data deletion request. To request deletion of personal data held by Labooka, follow the deletion-request instructions on this page.
3. If you messaged a business
If you wrote to a business that uses Labooka through Facebook Messenger or Instagram, the conversation may be stored in Labooka on behalf of that business. Send us your request using the steps above. Labooka processes the request for the data it holds, and may coordinate with the business where that business determines how its client data is used.
4. What we delete when we process a deletion request
- Messages and conversation history received through Facebook Messenger or Instagram that relate to you.
- Identifiers and profile information Meta provided with those messages, such as a profile name, username or sender identifier.
- For a business owner: the stored account identifiers and connection metadata for a connected Facebook Page or Instagram account.
- Your Labooka account data, when you ask us to delete the account.
5. What may be kept
Some records may be kept where the law requires it or where it is needed for security, fraud prevention or the handling of a dispute. For example, booking and payment records may be kept for accounting purposes. Where records are kept, we limit them to what is needed for that purpose.
6. What happens next
- We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you before acting on it.
- We confirm by email once the request has been processed.
